Aux Lyonnais
bistro in Paris
Created in 1890, this traditional bouchon parisien offers
an innovative and inventive Lyonnaise cuisine - typical
French cuisine of tradition : farm-fresh poultry, beef,
cheese, Lyonnaise butcher meats, wines from the south of
Macon to the northern Rhône area... A table were French
business men of the area meets for Lunch and a warm adress
for the evening... Aux Lyonnais bistro is a good table and
reservations are recommended either for lunch or dinner. A
classic bistro offering a lively pleasant "Paris old
times" atmosphere. Expect large portions and wonderful
cheeses. The bistro is set in a very quiet location in the
heart of the 2nd district - Make sure to take a map before
going there. |

What is the difference between a classic French restaurant and a
bistro ? Well a Bistro is a small restaurant, featuring simple
fare, sometimes with entertainment - casual, contemporary
cuisine that frequently consists of ample portions and is often
accompanied by wine. A key feature in the preparation of bistro
cuisine is the use of fresh, local produce.
